U.S. Army and Pragmatic Launch America’s Army Official Server Map Submission Site www.aamissiondepot.com

The U.S. Army and Pragmatic Solutions today announced the release of Mission Depot for America’s Army®, the official server map submission site and repository www.aamissiondepot.com  for the America’s Army® (AA) game community.

With the launch of America's Army: Special Forces (Coalition) version 2.8 and the Mission Editor “the next mission could be yours!”

Pragmatic Solutions, in cooperation with the Army, developed the Mission Depot companion site to support the release of Mission Editor which made its debut with the release of America's Army: Special Forces (Coalition) Version 2.8 today.

Mission Depot is a unique user driven community site where players post America’s Army missions that they developed either by modifying existing levels or creating new levels using any of the existing art, sound, particle effects, and gameplay assets already incorporated in America’s Army. Gamers can submit and vote on their favorite maps. Players will be able to comment and collaborate with others on developing the most exciting and entertaining maps for themselves and their community.

The core of Mission Depot is the map review process. Maps uploaded will be reviewed by a panel of experts associated with the America’s Army game. The most creative and well constructed maps will be eligible to become Official America’s Army Maps that may be deployed on Official Honor Servers.

With Mission Depot, users will be able to:

  • Submit maps using the Official America’s Army library of Assets.

  • Submit a description and Gallery for the community to vote on.

  • Comment, collaborate and vote on other map submissions.

  • Have their maps approved by the America’s Army panel of experts and deployed on Official Honor Servers.

“Pragmatic Solutions is proud of our continued association with the America’s Army game, and excited to be bringing the America’s Army community this unique opportunity to create maps for AA. This next generation tool of user created content, will help propel the America’s Army game to another level”, says Robert Brown, VP of Business and Legal Affairs Pragmatic Solutions.
