Gathering To Introduce Vietcong Mission Pack

Since its initial launch in March 2003, enthusiasm for Vietcong from fans of the first-person shooter genre has spawned hundreds of on-line communities, clans and dedicated servers.

Now, in January 2004, Gathering will launch Vietcong: Fist Alpha, the official mission disc for Vietcong.

The Fist Alpha mission pack allows you to penetrate even deeper into the jungles of Vietnam as part of an elite U.S. Special Forces team.  Seek out and destroy the Vietcong and North Vietnamese Army in seven new single player missions, then join the fray on-line in one of 8 new on-line multiplayer maps.  Also, an all-new campaign editor is now included for fans interested in creating their own maps, mods and missions.

Praise for Vietcong has been echoed loudly in both print and on-line reviews as one of the first games ever set during this tumultuous time in U.S. history.  PC Gamer says, “Vietcong may be the most authentic first-person treatment of Vietnam ever attempted.”
