GAWK AT THE AMAZING YETI! FROM THE SNOWY NORTH -- THE YETI COMES TO ZOO TYCOON
Five Other New Animals to be Released in November
Put a yeti in your park! The yeti, a fanciful creature also known as the Abominable Snowman, is now available for Zoo Tycoon. Along with the mountain lion and the bongo (a type of African antelope), the yeti can be added to a park through the autodownload function within Zoo Tycoon, or from the official site at http://www.microsoft.com/games/zootycoon/. Additional animals will be available in late November, including the Asian black bear, the blackbuck, and the Asian elephant.
An article discussing the sudden appearance of the yeti is currently on MSN's Pets and Animals page: "The yeti was thought to be a savage creature living in the Himalayas, standing six to eight feet tall, with white fur, massive claws, and sharp fangs. With today’s sighting, that description is confirmed, with the addition of a bluish pallor to its face and stomach, and some eyewitnesses said to the palms of its hands as well." Zoo Tycoon brings a new and exciting twist to
the tycoon style of simulation games, challenging players to construct a
healthy and vibrant zoo while managing animal and guest happiness.
With more than 40 unique animals and more
than 175 habitat and zoo building materials, Zoo Tycoon includes an
intuitive design that allows players to erect,
manage and maintain a thriving metropolitan zoo. Players can build an
extensive menagerie from traditional favorites such as elephants, lions and
giraffes, or
more exotic offerings including pandas and white Siberian tigers. Players must
decide how to turn a profit with their zoo -- some may choose the path of
frugal management, while others may overcharge for admission and stiff the
guests with an $8 soda!
Zoo Tycoon's easy-to-manage design lets
players oversee the growth of their zoos, while the interactive tutorial
provides helpful assistance for players looking to enjoy the game right out of
the box. Developed by Blue Fang Games LLC, Zoo Tycoon allows players of all ages and
skill levels to construct a zoo or engage in one of 15 challenging
scenarios.
Zoo Tycoon is available in stores now, by calling Microsoft at (888) 218-5617, or on the Internet at http://shop.microsoft.com/ for an estimated retail price of $34.95 (U.S.). Zoo Tycoon has an ESRB rating of "E" for Everyone. For more information, please visit the official site at http://www.microsoft.com/games/zootycoon/. * * *
