Shrapnel Games Releases Steel Beasts Patch 

Patch Adds Enhancements, Fixes Bugs

Apex, NC, November 16, 2000

Shrapnel Games announced today that the much anticipated Patch for Steel Beasts is ready and available for download at their website at http://www.shrapnelgames.com. The Patch, version 1.1, fixes almost 30 reported bugs and adds over 30 enhancements, many requested by the fans.

Included in the fixes are interface enhancements, five new vehicles including the Jaguar2 and the Humveee, and multiplayer enhancements. Other enhancements include improved mission scoring. Bug fixes include fixes for aiming problems, algorithm tweaks, and multiplayer bug fixes. Many other enhancements and fixes are also included.

Tim Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, said, "Al Delaney has spent the last several months, even before the game was released, adding features to an already superior product. We also listened to the fans and added options they requested."
