Medieval II: Total War for the PC Goes Gold!
SEGA announced today that Medieval II: Total War for the PC has officially gone gold and will release in North America on November 14, 2006. Developed by The Creative Assembly, this visually stunning game spans four and half centuries of the most turbulent era in Western history and gives players the reins to control and command the most realistic and epic battles ever seen in the real-time strategy genre.
Medieval II: Total War is the latest game in the award-winning and critically acclaimed Total War series. The follow-up to 2004’s Strategy Game of the year – Rome: Total War – Medieval II: Total War takes the series to a new level with a vastly improved campaign game, a new animation system for more visceral combat, and even more detailed units and real-time battles. Players can now truly experience the pageantry and brutality of the medieval era from 1080 to 1530, encompassing the golden age of chivalry, the Crusades, the proliferation of gunpowder, rise of professional armies, the Renaissance and the discovery of the Americas.
Medieval II: Total War for the PC is rated “T” for “Teen” by the ESRB and has an MSRP of $49.95. For more information on the game, please visit www.totalwar.com
