Test Drive Unlimited Launch Event Finale (Part 3)
A Look at the Mustang GT-R and Shelby GR-1 Concepts
In conclusion to the Test Drive Unlimited launch event, we bring you photos of two concepts parked only footsteps away from Atari’s online game stations.

Shelby GR-1

Mustang GT-R
The Shelby GR-1 made its debut at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, taking the world by storm with its sleek, semi-futuristic design. One glance and you can’t take your eyes off it.

Ford unveiled the Mustang GT-R at the 2004 New York International Auto Show. A cooler, more powerful version of its predecessors, the GT-R was designed with a 440-horsepower Cammer crate engine that could be tuned to produce more than 500 horsepower.

Like any other unforgettable experience, it was hard to say goodbye to the cars, the test rides, and the Henry Ford Estate. But while that experience could not last forever, we now have an unforgettable racing game that’ll be cruising Xbox Live for months to come. We also have the next wave of concept unveilings to look forward to in January (when the 2007 North American International Auto Show is scheduled to take place).
