Savage 2: A Tortured Soul – New Screenshots

Developer S2 Games today announced the release of six new screenshots from their soon to be released triple-A strategy shooter for PC, Savage 2: A Tortured Soul

Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is the continued and harrowing story of Savage: A Battle for Newerth, a unique fantasy world eons from now where Humans and Beasts violently battle for their very existence. A truly unique experience, Savage 2 builds upon the original Savage with additional RPG elements, allowing players to further customize their character’s development with unique abilities/spells in order to win a duel or simply survive on-going incidents. Because Savage 2 offers fully developed aspects (FPS, RTS, and RPG) of each genre, players must work together as a team in order to defeat their opposition.

Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is the sequel to the critically acclaimed online multiplayer game Savage: A Battle for Newerth, which introduced gamers to the completely new Real Time Strategy Shooter (RTSS) gaming genre. Savage enabled players to opt for either the fast-paced, run-and-gun action of an FPS (playing as a Warrior) or the more cerebral and tactical planning of an RTS (playing as a Commander), working together as a team to defeat the enemy. Savage 2: A Tortured Soul builds upon the addicting, fast-paced gameplay of the original with additional squad-based features and enhanced role-playing (RPG) elements that enable players to build their character level and abilities throughout the game.
