1,000 Beta Testers Wanted for SkillGround
SkillGround is the world's first video game service where competitors from around the world can play top quality video games head-to-head in a secure and fair environment for fun and real money.
The creators are currently hosting a beta test, and the first 1,000 people to sign up receive $50 to use as entry fees to play other gamers on SkillGround. Once you sign up for the service, you can challenge other gamers in quick matches – if you beat your opponent, you will receive SkillGround dollar credits. At the end of the beta, if you have played in matches where you have paid entry fees totaling at least $50 (SkillGround Dollars), you get to keep your account balance - in cash.
The beta ends next Tuesday, September 5th at 9am PST and is limited to 1,000 people.
Games included in SkillGround’s beta test include WarPath, a sci-fi first-person shooter from Digital Extremes, and L.A. Street Racer, a brand-new racing title. When the service launches later this year, there will be a variety of titles to choose from.
