Call of Juarez Single-Player Demo Now Available
Today, Ubisoft and Techland announce the online availability of a single-player demo for Call of Juarez that will allow players to experience first-hand the gun-slinging action of the Wild West. The companies also announce that Call of Juarez will be coming to a next generation console in 2007, and that the PC version in the US will be held to coincide with the launch of the console version, while the release dates in Europe remain unchanged. Improvements to the US PC version are expected, based on optimization for Windows Vista.

About Call of Juarez
Relive the Wild West with all of its personality including fun times in the local whore house, teaming up with Native Americans and having a showdown with the crooked sheriffs. In single player campaign, players enter the world of two opposing characters equipped with contradicting weapons and styles. Ray is the retired gun-slinger turned rough and tumble Preacher and Billy, a sneaky and elusive man befriended and trained by Native Americans is on the run. Authentic western situations chronicle the cat and mouse game played between Ray and Billy. Players are forced to make split second decisions to escape the grasp of Ray, or get their hands on Billy, and the secondary characters littered throughout this western setting. Call of Juarez features authentic gun-slinging action including duels, shootouts and barroom brawls.
Call of Juarez will use the third installment of Techland's Chrome game engine. The game will allow players to use objects found in the world as weapons or as tools to solve problems. Graphics, AI and multiplayer features will immerse players into the Wild West like no one has done before.
