KOREA: FORGOTTEN CONFLICT RELEASING IN OCTOBER IN NORTH AMERICA

 

July 22, - Dallas, Texas        Cenega Publishing a Czech based computer and video game publisher along with developer Plastic Reality in this, the 50th anniversary of the Korean conflict, are honored to announce an October release for Korea: Forgotten Conflict in the North American market.

 

June 25, 1950:  the 38th Parallel marked the beginning of a war that so far has seen no true end. Koto-Ri, Naktong Breakout, Chosin Reservoir...  these are just a few of the forgotten places and battles from fifty years ago that have had a major impact on shaping the world of today.  The fiftieth anniversary of the Korean War gives us as a nation, an opportunity to honor the American veterans who served with valor in that bitter war. It is also important that we use this anniversary to remember our South Korean and United Nations allies who fought with bravery and skill against the communist foes.

 

Set in Korea during the conflict between North and South Korea, the game offers an authentic setting from the period - along with all its nuances. Diversity in locations - such as enemy bases, airfields, railway stations, factory facilities, Prisoner of War camps, as well as harbors, historical palaces and monasteries - bring each detailed scenario to life.

Presently, Korea: Forgotten Conflict comprises 4 campaigns consisting of a total of 12 missions. Every mission is a self-designed environment with its own graphic design based on a real world location. Well-structured missions will lead the player through the Korean War.

Korea: Forgotten Conflict Features include:

·         Comprehensive range of weather effects (including season changes)

·         Free camera movement with zoom and smooth rotation

·         Interactive environment including the ability of manipulation and destruction of objects

·         Film sequences which accentuate the game setting

·         Detailed graphics including all building interiors, weapons and military facilities

·         Access to more than 50 weapons

·         Locations include: open streets of Seoul, train stations, factories, POW camp, airfield and monastery

·         Highly detailed dynamic shadows and lighting

·         Planning of operatives available - possibility to pause game and give orders to soldiers
