Three EA Games to invade Gencon in July

 

The Lord of the Rings, Ultima Online and Earth & Beyond Set for the World’s Largest Gaming Convention

 

REDWOOD CITY, CA (July 16, 2003) – Electronic Arts Inc. (Nasdaq: ERTS) announced today it will showcase The Lord of the Rings™: The Return of the King™, Ultima Online™: Age of Shadows™ and Earth & Beyond™ at this year’s Gen Con, July 24-27 at the Indianapolis Convention Center, in booth 1833.

 

Gen Con attendees will be able to play the upcoming game, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system which is based on the upcoming movie from New Line Cinema.

 

Many members of the Ultima Online development team will be there to meet and greet fans of the one of the world’s largest online role-playing game. At the booth, there will be in-game events, giveaways, and a few other surprises.

 

Earth & Beyond, the online role-playing galaxy, will feature gameplay events in the booth, giveaways and several development team members on hand to answer questions about upcoming game developments.
