PlanetSide Players Orlando Event Held in August

Player Gathering held from August 20-23

From August 20th through August 23rd, premier fansite PlanetSide-Universe will be the sponsor of Mobilization Alpha, a player gathering in Orlando, Florida.

Itinerary

  • Friday, August 20th: Check-in at hotel, registration, group welcome meeting. Dinner at Medieval Times Restaurant. Group activities in hotel that evening.

  • Saturday, August 21st: Breakfast at hotel, depart for Disney theme park. Dinner at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney. Group activities in hotel that evening.

  • Sunday, August 22nd: Breakfast at hotel, depart for Universal Studios theme park. Dinner at Margaritaville in City Walk, Universal Studios. Group activities in hotel that evening.

  • Monday, August 23rd: Breakfast at hotel. Check out of hotel at 10am. Shuttle to Orlando International Airport, and final goodbyes.

Cost Breakdown

  • Hotel = $270/night (inc. 11.5% tax). 3 nights = $810, or $27/person.

  • Medieval Times = $1360 total. $45.35/person including tax and service charge.

  • Disney World = $1750 total. $58.35/person including tax.

  • Dinner at Planet Hollywood = $960 total. $32/person including tax and service charge.

  • Universal Studios = $1620. $54/person, including tax.

  • Dinner at Margaritaville = $1500 total. $50/person including tax and service charge.

  • Merchandise printing = $450 for 35 shirts.

  • Shipping = $75.

  • Miscellaneous expenses = $75.

  • Shuttle service for the weekend = $1300.

  • Event gift bags = $600. $20/person.

    TOTAL = $10,500
    TOTAL PER PERSON = $350

All expenses include a group discount, when applicable. All costs are based on 30 people attending the Mobilization. If more than 30 people sign on, the cost will remain the same. (i.e. overall cost of the event will increase to accomodate more people, but will be divided up among more people, evening the cost out.)

Additional Information:

Any who are interested in attending PSU Mobilization Alpha must register online before July 15th. At the time of online registration, a non-refundable $150 deposit will be due towards the total balance. The remaining $200 must be received no later than August 1st.

In order to participate in any event for the PSU Mobilization, you must be registered. To ensure the safety and security of the Mobilization group and to protect Sony assets, no unregistered guests will be permitted to attend any Mobilization events, with no exceptions.
