Gamebryo Powers Hit Titles at E3 2003

(Chapel Hill, N.C. – May 14, 2003) – NDL, a leading developer of 3D graphics technology for the computer and video game industry, announced today that NDL's technology is powering demo titles at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the world's leading expo for the interactive entertainment industry.

The highly anticipated Bethesda Softworks' The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon(TM), the second expansion for its RPG-of-the-Year The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind®, is being shown on the PC. Recently announced, Bethesda will release a Morrowind Game of the Year(TM) edition for the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft which will include the original version of Morrowind and content from its two PC expansions, Tribunal(TM) and Bloodmoon(TM).

Codemasters' Dragon Empires, scheduled for release on the PC Spring 2004, is being demonstrated in their booth at E3. Codemasters will be revealing further details on new characters, creatures, trading, politics and the player versus player model.

Mythic Entertainment's Dark Age of Camelot and its expansion pack Shrouded Isles is one of the most acclaimed online games today and continues to create buzz among gamers and the media. The game has hit record PC sales throughout Europe reaching the number one spot in entertainment CD-ROM sales in France the week of release, according to GFK.

Gamebryo allows developers to quickly create stunning 3D environments, while also offering a host of new features, including expandable tools architecture, pixel and vertex shader editing and new animation tools. "Gamebryo's support for cinematic shader technology gives artists the ability to easily modify pixel and vertex shaders and take advantage of the outstanding cinematic rendering capabilities of our new NVIDIA GeForce® FX(TM) 5900 graphics processor," said Bill Rehbock, director of developer relations at NVIDIA.

NDL is holding meetings throughout the expo in Kentia Hall #7134 and #7136 and is demonstrating the recently launched Gamebryo through two technology demos titled Lenguins and Eturnum.
