Techland's E3 2005 Line-up Confirmed 

May 11, 2005 - Today Techland has confirmed their list of titles to be presented at the upcoming E3 show in Los Angeles. Among them the most anticipated is Call of Juarez - a next-generation Wild West shooter.

At Techland's booth in West Hall, visitors will see a variety of new Techland games for the first time: SpecForce - a sci-fi shooter scheduled for release in June, Volkswagen Golf Racer - an official racing game about the legendary VW car series, and Call of Juarez - a next-generation shooter that takes place in the Wild West. Techland will also reveal information about its survival horror shooter - Island of Living Dead.

The first presentation of the Call of Juarez demo at Techland's booth will be accompanied by the official premiere of the Chrome Engine 2005 at nVidia's booth. Pawel Zawodny - Development Director at Techland is quoted as saying: "The visuals of the game are very important for us. We do hope that Call of Juarez will be the best looking shooter in 2006 which may come true thanks to the cooperation with nVidia. The interesting Wild West theme and innovative approach to visual effects will let us deliver new gameplay to the players and this is what we are going to show at E3."

About Call of Juarez
Call of Juarez is a next generation epic FPP adventure set in the wild west. The game's unique plot brings you to the Wild West of the 19th century, and gameplay requires a combination of stealth maneuvering and quick trigger reflexes. You play the role of both main characters; Billy, a fugitive running from the law, and Ray, the uncompromising bringer of justice, all in one game. The diverse gameplay of Call of Juarez takes advantage of many original concepts. Some are based on the interactive environment driven by realistic physics, others take advantage of the top quality visual effects. Stealth combat deep inside enemy territory, frontier assaults, squad assaults and containment operations are only some of the missions that can be found in SpecForce. Volkswagen Golf Racer is an official racing game about the legendary European Volkswagen Golf series. The game features over 15 models from all 5 series, including the classic GTI from 1975, GTI Kit Cars, the latest Golf V GTI from 2004 and a collection of bonus cars like: The New Beatle, The Samba and the latest concept cars. One of the most distinguishing features of the game will be photorealistic graphics, based on the Chrome Engine, making you feel like you're actually on the track.
