Demo Released for Galactic Civilizations!
Montreal, Canada. May 9, 2003 – Publisher Strategy First Inc. and developer Stardock have released a demo for their highly successful title, Galactic Civilizations today.

About the Demo
The Galactic Civilizations demo allows you to play 12 full game years. Only “tiny” and “small” galaxies (which have 25 sectors to explore) have been included in this demo in order to make it reasonable to complete.
About the Game
Galactic Civilizations is a space-based strategy game that puts you in the role of the leader of the human civilization at the dawn of the 23rd century. The galaxy has changed and 6 major civilizations, including humans, are out to colonize, conquer, and dominate one another.
Through military, technological, economic and political means, players fight for power. Players research new technologies, colonize and defend planets, build social improvements, build a fleet, fight wars, win elections, and gain influence in the United Planets Security council.
Galactic Civilizations was released March 26, 2003, so check your local retail store to purchase your very own copy.
