To celebrate the launch, visitors will find two new desktop wallpapers for the Dark Elf and Wood Elf in the Downloads section, and new item concept images in the Art section. In addition, due to the high volume of daily posts and visitors, the Elder Scrolls Forums have been redesigned to break up Morrowind discussions by topic and better facilitate discussions between gamers and the development team. In addition to regular participation on the forums, developers will also be posting weekly updates on a variety of gameplay topics in the new Team section.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Utilizing the latest in 3D technology, Morrowind will feature hyper-realistic textures and polygon counts, real-time shadows, vast landscapes, skeletal based animation, and a complete weather system. Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of the Elder Scrolls Construction Set, which allows you to modify and add to Morrowind in any way you see fit. You can change character or creature attributes and skills, introduce new weapons or dungeons into the game, or create entire new worlds to explore.
