UFO: Freedom Ridge is to be called UFO: Aftermath

(Brno, March 15, 2002): The developer ALTAR interactive announces that it was decided that the game currently in development under tentative title "UFO: Freedom Ridge" will be now developed and published as "UFO: Aftermath".

"We think the new name is great," said Martin Klima, director of ALTAR interactive. "It encapsulates the gist of our game much better."

UFO: Aftermath combines global strategy with small squad tactical combat in the fight against an alien invasion. It features run-time generated tactical missions, completely in 3D, with innovative simultaneous action combat, strong RPG elements and strategy game on the planetary level.

ALTAR interactive s.r.o. is a Czech computer game developer, controlled by private investors. It is the developer of acclaimed RTS Original War.
