VIVENDI UNIVERSAL GAMES SHIPS PC FANTASY TITLE ENCLAVE
3D Fantasy/Action Game Hits Store Shelves With New Saving System And Mission Structures
LOS ANGELES, Calif., March 13, 2003 – Vivendi Universal Games announced today that it has shipped "Enclave," for the personal computer (PC) to retailers nationwide.
A third-person, 3D action game, "Enclave" is set in a fantasy environment where long ago a rift formed separating the lands of light from the plains of darkness by an impassable chasm. Over time, the Enclave of light grew strong and prosperous, while those confined to the war-ravaged plains of the outlands harbored nothing but hatred and jealousy. Now, after hundreds of years, the rift is closing and it is only a matter of time before a full-scale war erupts. At the start of the game, players must make an important decision and choose to take on the role of either an agent of light or of darkness.
"'Enclave' for the PC generates a deep fantasy world with more than 25 intricately designed indoor and outdoor levels, a choice of 12 playable characters, and an arsenal of ranged and melee weapons, both conventional and magical," said Philip O'Neil, SVP Sales & Marketing, Vivendi Universal Games. "Unique and challenging missions await fantasy enthusiasts whether they choose to engage in the light or the dark campaigns at the beginning of their gameplay experience."
Maximizing the processing power of the PC, the game's technical features include higher frame rates, crisper visuals, and a saving system that allows players to save their progress more frequently from checkpoints. In addition, the PC game's mouse/keyboard combination provides players more precise control of their characters' movements and creates a faster gameplay experience.
"Enclave" has been rated M for mature by the ESRB. The game has a suggested retail price of $49.99.
