Operation Flashpoint Gold Edition Problems

Codemasters has determined there is a problem confined to the Operation Flashpoint install CD provided in the "Gold Edition" mini-box. At this point, it is not known exactly how the problem was created. Although, this is being investigated to assure there will be no repeats of this happening with any future production.

Although the game seems to install properly, the game cannot access the CD in order to start game play. The error messages varies somewhat depending on the OS, but generally is a page fault or illegal operation error. If a "downloadable" solution is possible, it will be posted very soon. Assuming the worst, Codemasters has sufficient "known good" CDs on hand to use as replacements if this should prove to be necessary.
