Shadowbane Developers To Load Patches Beginning Thursday

20 meg patch will be placed on servers on Test, Live Servers

There will be a few patches hitting the Shadowbane Test and Live servers over the course of the next seven to ten days. Thursday, February 27 is the day when the first patch is slated to arrive and it will include the fixes discussed in the In-Testing Notes. This will go live sometime after the daily maintenance cycle.

According to the Shadowbane Web site: "The Test Server will also be updated on Thursday with a patch that will be roughly 20 MB in size. This download will contain some of the data and information for our upcoming Rise of the Upstart Gods patch. The content will be unavailable until the whole patch goes live but will reduce the end download size.

"If all goes well on Test, the data patch (mentioned above) will be placed on the Live Servers this Friday so expect a 20 MB patch after the daily maintenance cycle.

"We will be updating the Test Server on Friday with a non-frame optimized client that will help us gather more specific debug data and will allow us to count, categorize and track errors. You may notice a slight decrease in frame rate. This patch will also include a server optimization patch."
