Free Trial for A Tale in the Desert
eGenesis has released a trial version of A Tale in the Desert that is currently available for free download. A Tale In The Desert is a massively multiplayer, role-playing game set in ancient Egypt. eGenesis also has relelased the following statement announcing their Tests of our Tale events happening later this weekend.
Citizens of Egypt,
The moment when we triumph or fail before The
Stranger is upon us. As is tradition, the final seven Tests of our Tale will be
released this weekend,
beginning:
Friday, February 24, 12:00 Noon EST (GMT-0500)
As I promised, this will be a "welcome back"
weekend as well, when old friends are invited back to the game to celebrate with
us. (Free, no credit card needed.) What a weekend we have planned...
Among the final Tests is perhaps the most anticipated this Tale - The Test of
Dancing Waters. In this Test, Disciples of Art and Music are challenged to
create the most spectacular, awe-inspiring fountain that they can conceive.
Fountains, with their dynamic, choreographed motion, truly are the ultimate in
outdoor decoration.
We'll have events to go with some of the Tests, including exhibition matches in
the great sport of Takeskot, and a journey to the Wepwawet Spirit Arena for the
first games of Witagog.
I'll also host an informal in-game chat about progress on A Tale in the Desert
III, including a target release date. Expect this Saturday Noon EST (GMT-0500).
This should be an incredible weekend, and I'm looking forward to seeing many old
friends, and well as new arrivals.
On the Nile,
Teppy (Pharaoh)
