Savage: European Edition takes prime spot at Multiplay’s latest LAN Gaming event – Newbury Racecourse, 12th March – 15th March
Emerging Britsoft publisher Digital Jesters has joined forces with Multiplay UK to ensure its latest LAN event 'i19' – which takes place at Newbury Racecourse between March 12th and March 15th 2004 – will be the most successful and enjoyable yet.
The event will see Savage taking pride of place during the four-day tournament, with Digital Jesters offering prizes to the most successful players. Over 1000 players are expected to turn up during the event and there will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs. These include a first prize of £1000 for the winner, a second prize of £500 and a runner-up prize of £250. Various cash spot prizes have also been offered.
"The all-new European version of Savage makes it one of the best multiplayer games ever," says Leo Zullo, marketing director, Digital Jesters. "Therefore it is only right that we officially launch Savage at one of the best multiplayer events in the country. These guys really know how to throw a LAN party, so when the opportunity arose we grabbed it."
