PoliticalMachine.com both the home of upcoming strategy game and political
commentary
Canton MI January 21st , 2004. Stardock has launched
www.politicalmachine.com. The
new website is both the home page for Stardocks upcoming presidential election
strategy game, The Political Machine as well as a site for public political
commentary.
PoliticalMachine.com is designed to allow users to converge at a politically
neutral location to write articles, conduct polls and debate the issues of
campaign 2004. Forums, blogging, auto-referrals, topic-subscribing, and regular
updates on the status of the campaigns along with the latest demographic and
polling data will be available.
Stardocks upcoming strategy game, The Political Machine is due out this May. In
The Political Machine, players take on the role of campaign manager and must
choose candidates and build a campaign strategy to win the White House. Players
must raise money, build their grass-roots base, recruit political operatives and
make appearances on cable TV shows such as The OMaley Factorand Hard Hitterto
answer the tough questions of the day. Using the latest demographic data on each
state, players must find out which issues voters care about and motivate their
base while at the same time winning over the undecideds to their side.
Participating on PoliticalMachine.com is free and open to all users. Stardocks
strategy game, due out in May, will be sold at retail for $39.95. Stardock is
hoping to successfully mix the game and the subject matter for the game together
into a single successful site.
