IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BIGGER TWIN GALAXIES UNREAL TOURNAMENT LEAGUE GOES GLOBAL

"TGUTL targets Europe, as the world's first professional UT league expands its' borders to crown the ultimate champion."

Dallas, TX - January 22nd, 2001 - It has been mere days since Twin Galaxies, http://www.twingalaxies.com, recognized the need of the Unreal Tournament (UT) community, and provided them with a league and a chance at a $25,000.00 prize package. As demand increased, Twin Galaxies had decided to further their commitment to the professionalism of the game, and the Twin Galaxies Unreal Tournament League (TGUTL) has announced the expansion of the league to include Europe. Clans from all North American and European nations are invited to frag with the best, in 1v1, TDM and CTF, so that Twin Galaxies can determine the ultimate UT world champion. The expansion of the TGUTL will serve to unify the UT community throughout the world, and the live final event will finally answer the question of who is the greatest in the world. TGUTL governing body Twin Galaxies, has served the entire gaming community since 1981, recognizing player rankings and scores, along with sanctioning competitive tournaments.

"The chance to determine the best is one that the TGUTL cannot pass up. Twin Galaxies formed the TGUTL to serve a need in the UT community. By expanding tournament play into Europe, the debate between countries across the continents will finally be settled. We are proud to provide this competitive league for the Unreal Tournament athletes. European clans will have to earn their way into the TGUTL's regular season play, and in the end the true champion will be crowned by Twin Galaxies." The thoughts of Twin Galaxies Electronic Gamers League Commissioner Jeff Gross are echoed by UT clan captains and players across the continents. North American and European players alike are anxious to have Twin Galaxies sanction the tournament that will recognize the greatest in the game.

With the TGUTL preseason matches just underway, clans are invited to sign up now through February 24, 2001, at http://tgutl.twingalaxies.com. Top qualifiers will be presented with the opportunity to compete in TGUTL regular season play and eventually reach the final round; a live LAN event to be held in Dallas, TX., with airfare provided by Twin Galaxies, for the top two North American teams and top two European teams.
