for PC ready to roll onto North American retail shelves in February
Got Game Entertainment LLC and
co-publisher Merscom LLC today announced that "WWII Tank Commander" for North
American release is scheduled to arrive on store shelves February 12, 2006.
Developed by Sylum Entertainment Ltd, the non-stop military action game puts
you in command of a Sherman tank in General Patton’s Fourth Armored Division
as you destroy enemy armor and infantry, escort Allied convoys, rescue
hostages, and help free Europe from Nazi rule. "WWII Tank Commander" will
retail for $19.99 (USD) and is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB for Violence.
"WWII Tank Commander" fires
you into the heat of battle as you engage in multiple mission styles. In more
than 30 objectives over 10 levels, cut off the enemy at the Brittany
Peninsula, smash Nazi forces across the Moselle, relieve the besieged 101st
Airborne at Bastogne, cross the Rhine, drive German forces out of France, and
more, all against a backdrop of vividly detailed World War II environments.
Combining AMD64-optimization
with the knock-out sound of EAX(R) ADVANCED HD(TM) 4.0, with any Creative
Lab's sound card, makes the campaigns of “Patton’s Best” come thrillingly
alive as gunfire, mines, tracer fire, and explosions rip around you. “WWII
Tank Commander” also includes a captivating bonus chapter from the book
"Patton’s Vanguard: The United States Army Fourth Armored Division".
