Ok, gamers!  What's round, yellow, has long eyelashes and a winning smile?  Give up?  It's....Ms.Pac-Man!!!

This well-rounded superstar of arcade games has made a break-through with the help of the folks at Infogrames and you can now play this arcade favorite to your heart's content on your very own computer!  Throw all those quarters you've been saving into your piggy bank and get your hands on Ms. Pac-Man:  Quest for the Golden Maze!

You've never seen the dozens of brand new mazes this fun-filled game will bring you cause they are all completely new!  The action is addictively fun, the colors are eye-popping, and the challenges will have you striving for just one more chance to make the Top Ten list!

Play by yourself!  Play multiplayer!  Play for top score!  Just be sure you play Ms. Pac-Man:  Quest for the Golden Maze today!

Before you begin playing, check out all the selections offered in the Options Menu.  You can adjust the playing level to Easy, Normal, or Hard.  You can choose the number of lives to give Ms. Pac-Man (1-5).  You can pump up the volume on the music or turn it all the way off.  Same goes for the special effects sounds.  You can also opt for single or Multiplayer here.

The fun begins in the section called "In Search of Cleopactra" and you will have to beat this section to advance to the next section and so on until you reach "The Golden Maze"!  Each new level is just a little harder to master and the later levels are really challenging!

You'll want to avoid the Ghost Squad at all costs and that's not easy to do!  Blinky is red, angry and follows Ms. Pac-Man everywhere she goes!  Pinky, named for her color, watches to see where Ms. Pac-Man is headed and then tries to get in front of her so our well-rounded heroine can't eat the pellets.  Inky is light blue in color and is basically a scaredy cat who tries to pen Ms. Pac-Man in corners.  Orange in color, Sue is perhaps the most cunning of all the ghosts and spends her time tracking Ms Pac-Man swiftly through the mazes.  You won't have to worry about Baby Ghost doing any chasing but she is sure sweet and tasty when Ms. Pac-Man gobbles her up!

Throughout the different sections are lots and lots of tasty fruits, Power-up Pellets and special bonuses!  Try to pick up as many as you can so you will have the chance to access The Golden Maze!

The Special 2-Player Game allows you to go head-to-head with another Pac Character.  The race is on to see who can eat the most pellets.  Be on the lookout for Baby Ghost because eating her will makes your opponent slower and vulnerable!  If you can catch the other Pac, he/she will lose half the pellets he/she has gathered and will disappear to respawn again to race for more pellets.  When all the pellets have been eaten, the round is over.

You won't want to miss out on all the fun this PC game from Infogrames will bring you!  Don't take my word for how much fun it is...try it yourself!  I know you'll be a great Ms. Pac-Man fan in no time!

Install:  Very easy install.

Gameplay:  8.0.
I found the game to be quite easy to learn to play.  However, I do think playing with a joystick makes control much easier.

Graphics:  7.5. 
The graphics are quite good and sport rich, bright colors.  There was nothing that completely blew me away though.

Sound:  7.5. 
The music selections were exactly what I expected from experiencing previous versions (arcade and other consoles).  If it grates on the nerves too much, it can be turned down or off.  Sound effects were very good.

Difficulty:  7.0. 
Although this game can be set in Easy mode, I think many of the levels will be too challenging for a young or novice player.  It certainly will be quite challenging for advanced players.

Concept:  8.0. 
I applaud Infogrames for bringing this fun-packed game to the PC!  There is no educational value here but the enjoyment factor rocks!

Multiplayer: 
This game can be played by more than one player.

Overall:  8.0. 
For purely fun purposes, Ms. Pac-Man is sure to please kids of all ages!  It should rival the action offered by the arcades and it certainly will cost a lot less money than repeated visits to arcades cost.  I would highly recommend it as a great fun gift idea!  My assorted grandkids will all want to add this to their collections, I know!
