Whether it's single player, championship or practice mode that you are in, this game will have you on the edge of your seat trying to keep up. There are several options for you to choose from in each mode, as well as different vehicles. (My favorite is the Baja Bug!) One of the biggest pluses (well, for me at least) is the option to set your own mechanical configurations - you can do it yourself or choose the factory settings. Even if you aren't familiar with racing or off-roading, give do-it-yourself configuration a shot. After all, experimentation is half the fun! 

Racing in out-of-the-way places is the name of the game with this one, and there are quite a few for you to choose from, with more being unlocked as you progress through the game. You can select randomize and get a whole new track that's based on unspecified settings, or choose generate and get a location that you specify. The instruction booklet is quite in-depth and very pictorial which helps tremendously. There are so many options when it comes to control, that it would probably take me forever to list them, so I'm just going to say that if you can't find options you like and that work well for you, I'd be surprised. The graphics and sounds are so well done you can almost taste the dust! 

The only real problem I saw with the game is the load time, but then again, any game seems to take forever to load if you want to play NOW! If you get bored playing alone, fasten your seatbelts and hop on the 'Net for some hair-raising excitement with other Insane players. If you are a fan of racing or off-roading, then this is a game for you!
