The Stalin
Subway is a realistic first-person shooter that is set in Stalin's Moscow of
fall 1952. Losif Stalin, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the
Communist Party of USSR is now 72 years old. A group of military officials of
high rank decides that the Generalissimo is weak and the power can be taken
away from him. But the fear of the Father of the Nation is still strong and
conspirators choose an unusual weapon, which can produce huge destruction and
mass deaths...
The events of the game take place in Moscow on the territory of secret
underground objects like subway stations, Kremlin undergrounds, secret
military subways, the underground city of Ramenki, and other top-secret and

The preview copy is only limited to three maps and is also a work in progress. Though at first glance this title does show some promise to be a decent FPS. Though I did find that the game currently lacks eye-popping graphics. This is an unfinished title, but I personally could not find much visually to make this game stand out compared to other shooters. The sound effects and voice-overs are also still in the developing stage and again nothing sounded any different or better than any other titles.
In short I found this to be a typical shooter where you boogie through the missions being watchful of the enemy and careful not to shoot any friendly comrades. Complete various tasks to get you through the missions all the while blowing away anyone who stands in the way. Set back in the early 50’s you will have access to a well-rounded arsenal that will surely be enough firepower to see you through.
There will be a multiplayer option that will be offered in the retail version, which will most likely be this games saving grace. Not sure of the all the details yet, but most importantly it will be offered. For a game that has been over two years in the making, I would have thought to preview a bit more. I guess we will have just to wait and see.
