“Wine Tycoon” Pours Onto Retail Shelves Across North America
From plant to pick to press to pour, computer simulation game lets you run your very own French vineyard
Got Game Entertainment Announces North American Publishing Deal for “Wine
Tycoon”
From plant to pick to press to pour, run your very own French vineyard this October
Description
In “Wine Tycoon”, as in reality, each wine region has its own unique style and flavor, not only in appearance, but also in the different traditional grape varieties grown and the wines made. The two levels of game play – Career and Free Play, both with a tutorial for those who want it – allow players to patiently develop their gaming and wine-making skills, or roll up their sleeves and jump right in with just the funds to start a vineyard from scratch. “Wine Tycoon” also features an interesting and informative bonus Wine Encyclopedia with a glossary of wine terms and concise descriptions of French wines, grape varieties and wine regions.
From your chateau hub in “Wine Tycoon”, you must manage operations at other locations around the vineyard, such as at the fermentation building and the bottling plant. What variety of grapes, grape juices and finished wines do you currently have? Check your stock. Equipment must be maintained and repaired, and crops must be carefully tended. Are your vines in need of pruning? Is the soil fertile and are pests under control? And when harvest time comes around, are you prepared to hire your grape pickers?
