Battle in the Mediterranean
U-Boat - Battle in the Mediterranean”, with over 40 new types of ships, as well
as an extensively expanded campaign, is the most comprehensive add-on for
“Silent Hunter III”. The campaign runs from May 1941 to the allied invasion of
Italy in 1943. Furthermore, specially modeled battle zones allow to recreate
historical sea battles, like the battle for Sirte.
"U-Boat - Battle in the Mediterranean" offers ambitioned U-Boat commanders many hours of intensive battles within the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, with additional bases, new towns and hundreds of historical convoys.
About 30 newly added harbors with anchored ships, as well as many new military bases, including an air base on Malta and british navy bases, allow for even more realism.
Randomly generated surface activities pertain not only to Italian submarines,
but also to historical convoys and battle ships, like the Scharnhorst and
Gneisenau.
