Description
Red Jets puts you in the cockpit of a Russian jet fighter, in an alternate history where the Cold War is rapidly beginning to heat up. You’ll enter a world founded on discipline, honor, duty, and the service of Mother Russia, where the intensity of this conflict is beginning to blur the lines between right and wrong.
The player will get to climb behind the stick of several classic Russian jet fighters, such as the MiG-29 Fulcrum, and Yak-141 Freestyle, complete with advanced weapons and targeting systems. Red Jets spans the length of twenty combat missions, each set within a highly realistic simulated environment. Day and night flights, a painstakingly-rendered cockpit, weather conditions, and landscapes rendered using real satellite photography have all been employed to make Red Jets a realistic and immersive experience.
More importantly, you’ll be playing as a Russian pilot, instead of an American or European. Russian pilots are renowned for being the toughest dogfighters in the world, taking to the air without G-suits or the arsenal of high-tech tricks that a modern American fighter pilot brings to the table. A Russian dogfight is about getting in close -- even though the opposition typically has the technological edge -- and getting the job done. Red Jets will show you this combat philosophy in action, making for a more intense and hardcore flight experience.
