Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania Goes Gold
Aquatic Animals Splash into Retailers on Oct. 17
Description
You'll make a huge splash by adding killer whales, manta rays, and other exciting marine animals to your existing zoo with Microsoft® Zoo Tycoon™: Marine Mania.
Have a whale of a time as you combine land, marine, and prehistoric animals to build the wildest, most exciting zoo ever!
Features
- Impressive new animals. “Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania” features 20 exciting aquatic animals. From the mighty orca whale and the mischievous bottlenose dolphin to the graceful green sea turtle, gamers will discover and interact with an assortment of realistic marine animals.
- Aquatic entertainment. Marine shows let gamers choreograph action-packed entertainment for their guests. Players can teach marine animals new tricks, which can be used to create custom shows for zoo guests.
- New challenges. New scenarios and challenges allow players of all ages and skill levels to test their aquatic expertise and ensure that guests are happier and animals are more entertaining than ever. Gamers will be challenged to rescue and restore marine animals to health and release them into the wild, in addition to photographing specific events and creatures.
- New ways to build. “Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania” introduces new exhibit materials, themed buildings, guest attractions and toys. Construct and shape different types of in-ground and aboveground tanks with the new marine tank building set, or unleash swashbuckling creativity with the new pirate-themed tank object set. Assemble the ultimate marine park with all-new aquatic-themed buildings, including the splash fountain, touch pool, blue whale hall and shark photo booth.
- Deeper gameplay. New animal, guest and staff behaviors add to the challenges of managing your zoo. Watch an orca breach the surface of its tank, while dolphins teach each other new tricks. How players design and build their zoos determines the type of animations their animals perform.
- Interactive “edutainment.” Children and parents can broaden their knowledge of the animal kingdom to improve their zookeeping skills. The exclusive Zoopedia, with excerpts from Encarta® and first introduced in “Zoo Tycoon 2,” provides interesting facts, allowing gamers to uncover each animal’s specific dietary and habitat needs.
- Easy to learn and play. “Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania” seamlessly integrates with “Zoo Tycoon 2” so gamers can play immediately. An interactive tutorial teaches players how to build and manage the ultimate zoo.
- Downloadable content. Free downloadable content, including more building objects and animals, adds variety to creating the ultimate zoo, with ongoing updates all available at http://www.zootycoon.com.
