Description
AUGUST 1942 At the height of World War II, with the outcome still very much in doubt, secret Nazi experiments are underway as the Germans are looking for a way to bring life back to the dead. One experiment, led by a ruthless Nazi general, discovers that the shock people experience upon death endows their minds with powerful supernatural abilities. After countless attempts, the scientists finally succeed at raising the first of a new breed of warrior – the UberSoldier.
In UberSoldier, you take the role of Karl Stolz, an officer killed leading a Wehrmacht patrol against partisan forces. The process that has brought life back to your lifeless body has unlocked powers from within your once-dead mind – but they do not take away the memories of what your Nazi masters have done to you. In the game, you'll use up to 16 different authentic World War II weapons to compliment your new powers, fighting both human opponents and supernatural warriors over twelve levels of play, in your quest to eliminate once and for all the Nazi menace.
Features
Wrath Reward System - Terminating enemies with extreme prejudice is rewarded
in
UberSoldier through the granting of additional tactical powers. For example,
three consecutive
headshots will grant the power of Fury, raising your energy shield level; three
consecutive
melee kills will grant the power of Rage, raising the maximum hit points of your
hero.
Temporal Shield - When surrounded or hopelessly outnumbered, the Temporal Shield
can be
activated. Temporal Shield, a sphere that stops and suspends incoming bullets;
allows the
hero to turn bullets back on the enemy.
Independent Object Physics - All articles that make up a character’s equipment —
weapons,
ammunition, helmets, map cases, shovels, knives, med kits, and so on - are
independent
physical objects that can be damaged or knocked off during a battle. These
objects dangle
and move realistically as their owner then moves around.
Realism - One shot does not always mean one kill in UberSoldier. While a shot to
an
unprotected target’s head will kill, a bullet may only glance off a helmet,
knocking off the
helmet but not killing the target.
Advanced A.I. - Enemies will behave realistically by using cover to protect
themselves as
they attempt to flank the player. AI opponents will avoid an obvious losing
situation so as to
gather strength for a concentrated attack, and genetically enhanced AI super
soldiers will use
telekinetic attacks to fling objects at the player.
Advanced Rag Doll Technology - A realistic range of human movement compliments
the
game's physics engine, providing an advanced degree of authenticity.

Ubersoldier follows a trend that isn’t necessarily beneficial with a run-of-the-mill FPS

UberSoldier has some stock elements, but is generally an entertaining WWII shooter with supernatural elements
