Description
Rage Rider is an Action/RPG game for PlayStation2&PC, set in futuristic deserted ‘Mad Max/Road Warrior’-style environment of Nevada. After the global war the USA is split into small independent regions where every city is a capital of its own small country. Axle, the main character is a bounty hunter who was a stunt actor in his pre-war life. Now he uses his skills of gun slinging, bike riding and fighting on his new job - hunting down fugitive criminals and bringing them to justice - dead or alive. The game’s world is inhabited with law-abiding citizens, corrupt sheriffs, rebellious mayors of small towns, mysterious religion cults and a gangs of raiders - with all of them playing their own parts in a huge story of Rage Rider. The player can ride his bike across Nevada desert, traveling from town to town; fight enemies using martial arts, cold steel and fire-arms; talk with NPCs and receive quests and missions from them; improve his driving and fighting skills; buy new weapons and upgrade his bike; solve puzzles and sneak around unaware enemies. Featuring the unprecedented ‘bike combat’ mode, Rage Rider allows the player to fight the members of bike gangs while driving on full speed using baseball bats, lead pipes and even shotguns and grenade launchers. He can kick and punch his opponents, too. “Smart” dramatic camera improves the cinematographic feel of the fast-paced battles.
