Description

By solving a numbers mystery, students build their understanding of place value, create and interpret graphs, compare values using "greater than" and "less than" symbols, and discover different expressions of numbers. Based on the award-winning bestseller Numbers Undercover, this program introduces students to new number concepts of place value, graphing, inequality, and number representations. With Max, the Numbers Detective, your students engage in four skills-building activities where they are awarded clues to unlock a door leading to missing numbers, helping Max solve the case. With three levels of play for each activity, students have the opportunity to work from basic concepts to more complex situations. An onscreen Counter Tool, similar to the manipulatives used in classrooms in available for computational support. Student strengthen their number sense with these Number Recovered activities:
