Description
It’s early 1944 and the air war over Europe is in full swing. The American 8th Air Force is undertaking one of the most dangerous missions of the war: the daylight bombing of Germany. Flying strictly in formation without the benefit of fighter support, the Flying Fortresses were besieged by scores of Messerschmitt fighters and a wall of anti-aircraft fire. Into this cauldron flew the men of the 390th Bombardment Group.
