Description

Create the best castle you can, then defend it against the hostile approaching hordes. Enter into the world of the dark Middle Ages, a world where castles represented the safest sanctuary. Set in medieval Europe, Stronghold brings you a brilliant combination of simulation and real time strategy game styles. Build and govern authentic medieval castles, plan campaigns to repel attacks by your insidious enemies. To overthrow your adversaries you must create an impenetrable fortress from a massive selection of historical buildings, troops and machines at your disposal. So that you can better concentrate on your strategic decisions, Stronghold has a special resource manager, which supports you with the administration of creating larger sized castles. These managers independently take over functions, which can require urgent attention, freeing your time for more important tasks.
